Carmen, at the beginning of a life full of promises and dreams, has just graduated among the few female accountants in Mendoza (Argentina) in January 1935. The story, based on real events, tells how nine months later she is murdered and reconstructs what happened during that time, following the correspondence between its protagonist and an unrequited suitor, from the first meeting between them to the last.
